Teen Patti is a game of cards, nerve and timing, and it should stay that way: a game. This page explains how we think about safe play, the warning signs that gaming is becoming a problem, and where to find free, confidential help in India.
Our Approach
- This site is for adults aged 18 and above.
- We are an independent information site. We do not run games, hold player money or offer betting.
- Our guides focus on rules, hand rankings and strategy so you understand the game, not to push you to play more.
- Online money games are prohibited in India under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025. Check the law before using any app, and prefer free or social versions of Teen Patti.
Simple Rules for Safe Play
- Set a time limit before you start, and stop when it ends, win or lose.
- Play for fun, not income. Card games are not a way to pay bills or recover debts.
- Never chase losses. Trying to “win it back” is the fastest way to lose more.
- Do not play when stressed, angry, tired or after drinking.
- Keep gaming separate from essentials such as rent, school fees, EMIs and savings.
- Take regular breaks and balance gaming with family, friends, work and sleep.
Warning Signs to Watch For
Gaming may be becoming a problem if you or someone close to you:
- Spends more time or money than planned, again and again
- Borrows money, sells things or hides spending to keep playing
- Feels restless or irritable when trying to cut down
- Lies to family about how much time or money goes into games
- Neglects work, studies, sleep or relationships
- Thinks about gaming most of the day
If two or more of these sound familiar, it is a good time to pause and talk to someone.
Practical Tools That Help
- Use your phone’s Digital Wellbeing / Screen Time settings to limit app time.
- Remove gaming apps from your home screen, or uninstall them for a while.
- Ask your bank about blocking gaming-related transactions on your card or UPI.
- Tell a trusted friend or family member about the limits you have set.
