AK47 is a fast, high-scoring Teen Patti variant where four ranks become wild: every Ace, King, 4 and 7 is a joker. With 16 wild cards in the deck, big hands appear far more often than in classic Teen Patti, which makes AK47 a favourite at festive games and parties.
How AK47 Works
Everything else follows classic Teen Patti rules: three cards each, the boot, blind and seen betting, side shows and the show. The only change is that A, K, 4 and 7 of any suit can stand in for any card you need.

How Often Will You Get a Wild Card?
There are 16 wild cards in a 52-card deck. The chance that your three cards include at least one wild card is about 68% (1 − C(36,3)/C(52,3) = 1 − 7,140/22,100). In other words, two out of three hands hold at least one joker, so an ordinary-looking hand is often weaker than it seems.

Ties and House Rules to Agree First
- Natural vs wild: many groups rank a natural hand (no jokers) above the same hand made with jokers.
- Three jokers: decide whether three wild cards count as a Trail of Aces or simply the highest Trail.
- Wild Aces and Kings: some tables still let an Ace or King count as itself when that is better.
Strategy Tips for AK47
- Raise your standards. A Pair without jokers is weak in AK47; Trails and Pure Sequences are common.
- Count visible jokers. In side shows or shows, the jokers you have seen tell you how many are left.
- Blind play is attractive early, because your odds of a joker are high, but set a firm limit.
- Do not overvalue one joker. One wild card usually makes a Pair or a small Trail at best.
